Cooperatives and civil society organizations in this municipality learned more about gender concepts and concerns as they actively participated in the Orientation on Gender Sensitivity on March 23, 2023 at the Municipal Conference Hall.
The public service offering was organized by the Local Government of Asingan thru the GAD Focal Point System, Cooperatives Development Office, and CSO Desk, in partnership with the Pangasinan Provincial Population, Cooperatives, and Livelihood Development Office (PPCLDO) in conjunction with this year’s celebration of the National Women’s Month with the theme “WE for Gender Equality and Inclusivity”.
Mr. Alex Sevilla Jr., Supervising Cooperatives Development Specialist guided the participants throughout the intricacies of gender issues in the household, workplace, and community and how these can be addressed collaboratively to achieve gender equality and inclusive society. #WEcanbeEquALL
