RESOLUTION NO. 02, S-2021
LOCALIZED TRAVEL PROTOCOLS AND REVISED GUIDELINES ON TESTING AND QUARANTINE IN THE MUNICIPALITY
WHEREAS, the risk-level qualification effective March 1–31 retained the MGCQ in Region I, hence the Province of Pangasinan and its constituent LGUs;
WHEREAS, on February 26, the IATF-EID issued Resolution No. 101-2021 imposing uniform travel protocols and revised guidelines on minimum public health standards; on quarantine and testing; on documentary requirements, on ICT solutions, and on ports and terminals;
WHEREAS, the Provincial Government of Pangasinan issued Executive Order No. 0018-2021 on March 1 adopting the IATF Resolution No. 101-2021;
WHEREAS, despite the relaxation of guidelines, the municipality is faced with unprecedented increase in Covid-19 infections—with the total of 60 cases at present, two (2) of which are active cases, while 65 are under monitoring; hence, it is imperative to err on the side of caution and ensure the utmost protection of Asinganians by enforcing proactive measures;
NOW, THEREFORE, on motion of Dr. Ronnie S. Tomas, duly seconded by Councilor Marivic S. Robeniol, it was
RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, that the Municipality of Asingan shall adopt the following revised guidelines, specifically:
1. Minimum public health standards shall be strictly implemented IN ALL SETTINGS
a. physical distancing
b. hand hygiene
c. cough etiquette
d. wearing of face mask and face shield
2. On Documentary Requirements:
a. Travelers from high-risk areas and outside Pangasinan are required to present a negative RT-PCR (Swab Test) test result taken seven (7) days prior to arrival.
b. All Travelers are required to present their valid ID or proof of residency prior their entry into the municipality.
c. Travel Authority, Medical Certificate, and Letter of Acceptance are no longer required.
3. On Quarantine and Testing:
a. All inbound travelers must report directly, without any detour or diversion, to the Triage Area (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Monday to Friday) or Rural Health Unit 1 (after officer hours and during weekends), for health evaluation.
b. Asymptomatic travelers will be allowed to go home and shall conscientiously limit his/her mobility within the barangay and monitor his/her own health for seven (7) days.
c. Travelers that show Covid-related symptoms shall be subjected to further testing and will undergo facility quarantine at Alpha Pools.
d. Testing will not be required for day visitors or those who will not stay for more than 24 hours in the municipality.
4. Additional Guidelines:
a. Age-based stay-at-home restriction is still enforced–wherein 15 y/o and below and 65 y/o and above, those with comorbidities, health risks and immunocompromised must remain at home, except for emergency.
