Pursuant to R.A. No. 8980 or the Early Childhood Care and Development, a center-based childhood program was inaugurated with its fully-functional ECCD Building located in Brgy. Macalong (adjacent to AVRNHS and MTC).

In view of program launching, all Punong Barangays are enjoined to encourage their constituents to sign up their children aged 1-3 years old to Early Childhood Care and Development. Enrolment will start on August 16, 2021, Monday to Friday, 8:00 am — 11 am to be facilitated by accredited ECCD teachers, with the following requirements:

1. Photocopy of Birth Certificate of the child 2. Bakuna Card/booklet of the child

Early Childhood Care and Development is nationalized primarily to enhance the physical, social, emotional, cognitive, psychological, spiritual and language development of young children. In addition, the ECCD program envisions that young children are adequately prepared for the formal learning system and that both public and private schools are responsive to the developmental needs of these children.
