A momentous day for Barangay Bantog as Barangay officials and local government leaders gathered for the official ribbon-cutting and inauguration of the newly constructed Barangay Bantog Hall.
As shared in the latest Facebook Live by Asingan Mayor Carlos Lopez Jr., the lot was purchased by Barangay Bantog, and the Local Government of Asingan funded the construction of the building under his administration. He also shared that this Barangay Hall was a long-time dream and ambition of the barangay officials to create a beautiful and practical space that serves the needs of their community.
Punong Barangay Luis Jamias mentioned that the Barangay Hall will be fully operational by the first week of March. To address concerns about the distance for some residents, a transportation service will be made available at the old barangay hall.
