Members of the Local School Board (LSCB), together with the Local Literacy Coordinating Council, attended their first monthly meeting, headed by Asingan Mayor Carlos Lopez Jr., to discuss key issues in the town’s education sector.
The meeting aimed to unite all education stakeholders and ensure the proper and effective use of funds and programs for the benefit of Asingan’s schools and students.
Among the topics discussed were the planning for the utilization of the Special Education Fund (SEF) for Calendar Year 2026, discussion on contracts for Local School Board personnel for FY 2026, and other related matters.
Through coordinated efforts among the LSB members and other education stakeholders, the meeting is expected to further strengthen the quality of education in Asingan’s schools.
