Smiles and gratitude filled the Asingan Senior Citizens Center today, March 18, 2026, as 233 senior citizens received their cash gifts under Republic Act No. 11982, the Expanded Centenarians Act of 2024.

This special program provides ₱10,000 cash gifts for milestone birthdays at ages 80, 85, 90, and 95, with the National Commission of Senior Citizens (NCSC) Region 1 leading the distribution in Asingan. Local officials and staff ensured the event went smoothly, helping eligible seniors claim their benefits.

The law recognizes centenarians and other qualifying senior citizens, celebrates their contributions, and provides them with social protection.
